We're taxing ourselves

Launched in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, 1% for the Planet has quickly become a global movement. The idea is simple: everyone has 1% of their revenue or time to give to help protect the natural resources they benefit from.

To achieve that, 1% for the Planet connects their 3000+ members with high-impact nonprofit partners that align with their values. Cohabs Services SA officially become one of those members in 2022 by committing to donate 1% of our annual sales revenue to non-profits.

To really make an impact, this 1% is divided into two parts: money and action. The non-monetary donation consists of volunteer time provided by the Cohabs team and members!

We want to give as much as we can

We are giving half of the 1% to non-profits based in Belgium that have a local impact on the planet. We also partner with GoodPlanet Belgium and Waste Free Oceans.

Being better together

As we also want our teams and community to have an impact, we are also giving time and resources to help local non-profits build their projects. We organize 4 impact days per year and many events within our community to help the planet.
