A welcoming neighborhood for everyone

We value the communities we build as well as those that we join. Open lines of communication with our neighbors are essential, and we prioritize these relationships whenever we open a new home.

What we’re already doing

We make sure our members understand the importance of being respectful and considerate of their neighbors from day one. Our community follows all rules and quiet hours set by the neighborhoods and cities our homes are located in.

Action plan at the ready

We have a system in place to handle complaints and address any issues that arise in a timely and effective manner. Each home has an appointed House Ambassador and reminders are sent in the Cohabs app to communicate about noise levels and quiet hours.

Soundproofing that’s up to snuff

In terms of physically soundproofing our homes… we’re trying it all. We incorporate quieter insulation such as cork (which is also more sustainable!), use rugs and furniture to muffle sound, rearrange furniture to minimize noise, use sound-absorbing materials in walls and ceilings, and install soundproof doors and windows.
